Shin-ichi FUKUDA

Every time we hear Shin-ichi Fukuda the pleasure of music emerges with new dimensions.
His artistic culture exceeds all standards.
I'll never foeget his world premiere of my piece "Hika" In Memoriam Toru Takemitsu
that became a reference performance even for grest maertros.
Now I'll honoured that Fukuda makes a tribute to me by selecting a wide range of my guitar music.
I can only say that I have been interested foe many years in Kabuki, Noh theatre,
Ikebana or the tea ceremony and for instance Basho's Hai-KU inspired my "Preludes Epigramatiques". Maertro Fukuda is facilitating my close contact to Japanese culture.
