This was not only a first appearance in BIWAKO RECITAL SERIES but also first concert tour for Mr.Bravo, who made a big succes in FUKUOKA, Japan last March 2004.
His 1st half of the program was constructed with spanish music and a great Sonata related to Spain by Italian composer, M.C.Tedesco. The concert started very beautifully and smoothly with a elegant baroque music by Murzia. A Rondo by Sor made us to wish if Mr.Bravo play whole the movements of the Sonata. Maja de Goya by Granados was one of the most well known piece for the classical guitar, but the guitarist suceeded in showing the perfect beauty of the piece.
In the 2nd half of the program was filled with music from his country, Argentina. All of them ( Aguire, Piazzolla and Sinesi ) were like Dream Lands where we can enjoy and find anything we wish. Mr.Bravo made us excited and happy.
Now we must say to him, Mr.Bravo "Well come to our country, Japan". This was a big first step of him in Japan! It will be a long time to listen to him here even if he may agree with playing next week again.
